About The Role
YOUR TEAM
You will be part of our wider Project Management and Commercial Management Team (PMCM), comprising over 400 professionals across the UK, within our Civil Infrastructure and Utilities Group. Your development will be supported with access to WSP’s training, development tools, and resources, contributing to transforming UK infrastructure.

A Typical Day Would Include
* Ensuring compliance with quality management systems and driving efficiencies in project execution
* Providing guidance and support to project teams in a multi-disciplinary environment
* Organising and chairing professional client meetings
* Planning, administering, monitoring, and controlling projects valued from £1m to £15m with limited supervision
* Managing project changes effectively
* Monitoring and delivering projects within budget, schedule, and scope
* Undertaking contract management and administration under various contracts
* Line management responsibilities for Assistant or Graduate/Undergraduate PMs
Candidate Requirements
* Working towards or attained a professional qualification in project management, quantity surveying, or engineering (e.g., APM, MSP, PRINCE2)
* Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or similar
* Understanding of the energy sector and regulatory issues
* Experience in a regulated environment within energy or sectors like Telecoms, Water
* Knowledge of NEC contracts and relevant skills in contract administration
* Membership in professional bodies such as APM, PMI, MICE
* Proficiency with project management tools and software
* Competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning, and commercial management
