THE OPPORTUNITY
We have opportunities available for a Client Manager in our Commercial Insurance team. Working with us as a Client Manager will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across a wide range of industry sectors.
On a daily basis you will showcase your skills and knowledge by:
1. Proactively managing valued client and insurer relationships.
2. Negotiating, placing, and reporting to clients at renewal mid-term and new business stages.
3. Ensuring adequacy and appropriateness of cover.
4. Managing personal workloads and meeting deadlines.
5. Keeping accurate client records and files at all times, including timely inputting of all client data into our bespoke system.
6. Providing clients with high-quality policy documentation in accordance with FCA regulations.
7. Building good working relationships with internal departments and colleagues.
8. Responding to client queries, including changes in cover and risk, in a professional and timely manner.
9. Ensuring that Company procedures, excellent client service standards, and compliance regulations are adhered to and maintained.
10. Contributing to the achievement of team and business objectives by generating sales, identifying gaps, up-selling and cross-selling.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATES
Essential Criteria
Our next Client Managers should have a minimum of 3-5 years of commercial broking experience, with good all-around Commercial insurance experience and technical knowledge across a range of classes of insurance products.
1. Enthusiastic client-focused approach;
2. Ability to develop strong client and insurer relationships.
3. Ability to support colleagues in a close team environment;
4. Strong working knowledge and understanding of most commercial classes of business and associated insurance products.
5. Keen attention to detail and the ability to prepare high-quality documentation;
6. Highly organised with strong administrative skills;
7. IT proficient; (Acturis experience desirable)
8. High level of motivation and resilience with a proactive attitude.
Desirable Criteria
1. In possession of or working towards Cert CII.
2. Experience working with Financial Line Insurance products.
