Join Our Team as a Learning Support Assistant in a Primary School in Cardiff!
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in their educational journey? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our wonderful KS1 class on a full-time, long-term basis until the end of the academic year (July 2025).
The Role:
1. Position: Learning Support Assistant
2. Location: A vibrant Primary School in Cardiff
3. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
4. Pay: £88.94 per day
5. Contract: Temporary (to cover long-term sickness)
6. End Date: July 2025 (end of academic year)
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be playing a key role in ensuring that our KS1 students receive the support they need to thrive. You’ll assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing one-to-one support to children who need it most, helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Essential: Enhanced DBS check and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
2. Experience: Ideally, a strong background in working with children in a Primary School setting, especially within Key Stage 1
3. Skills: Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to helping children succeed
4. Availability: Full-time commitment until the end of the academic year (July 2025)
