We are currently looking for a Shift Controller to join our operations team in Gloucester.
Shift Pattern Available
4 on 4 off – Nights 18:00–06:00.

What You’ll Do
* Lead, support, and coordinate the shift team with professionalism.
* Ensure efficient and accurate inbound and outbound stock flow.
* Oversee daily warehouse operations to maintain service and productivity standards.
* Monitor WMS, resolve anomalies, and ensure data accuracy.
* Monitor and manage employee holidays, absence, and basic performance management.
* Allocate workloads effectively and support resource planning.
* Communicate clearly with Operators, Planners, Engineers, and Client Liaison teams.
* Liaise professionally with customers and transport partners to resolve issues.
* Lead structured shift handovers to maintain continuity.
* Promote and maintain strong Health & Safety standards.
* Support training and development of employees.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally with exposure to WMS and stock flow processes.
* Strong people‑management skills with proven experience leading teams in an operational setting.
* A proactive, confident approach with the ability to coach, motivate, and support colleagues.
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments and maintain strong relationships with partners and customers.
* Commitment to Health & Safety and continuous improvement.
* Good attention to detail and ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
