For the successful Mechanical Fitter our client is offering:
1. Starting salary up to £35,000 per annum (£16.82 per hour) - Depending on experience
2. Days position 7:45am-5pm Monday to Thursday with a 12:45pm finish on Fridays
3. Permanent position within a well-established engineering business
4. OTE up to £40.000 per annum with overtime regularly available

The Role - Mechanical Fitter:
14. Assembling a variety of Robotic/Automated equipment from start to finish
15. Working from engineering drawings
16. Use of hand/power tools to assemble products
17. Working within a team to build equipment
18. Fitting & Installation of equipment at customer premises, including worldwide travel when required
19. Use of machinery within the workshop
20. This position could involve travelling up to 2/3 times a year (Usually 2 weeks at a time)
21. Providing guidance to Junior members of the team
What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Fitter;
22. Able to demonstrate Mechanical Fitting experience - ESSENTIAL
23. C&G qualification in Engineering or apprentice trained - Desirable
24. Ability to work away from home as there will be Worldwide travel involved, however this is minimal at the moment
25. Full UK Licence & Passport - ESSENTIAL
26. Ability to read from drawings
27. Someone mechanically minded, good with hand and power tools
