HR & Recruitment Coordinator - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
Our client is seeking a proactive HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join their team on a 1-year fixed term contract, working 4 days per week.
Reporting to the HR & Recruitment Business Partner, you will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the HR team, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and managing absence issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate recruitment activities: advertise roles, schedule interviews, liaise with candidates, managers, and agencies.
2. Manage onboarding: draft contracts and offer letters, handle pre-employment checks, and deliver inductions.
3. Support payroll by maintaining accurate records and assisting with data entry.
4. Draft employee communications and update the intranet (SharePoint).
5. Coordinate 5-week reviews and probationary meetings, including follow-up correspondence.
6. Assist with HR reporting and prepare presentations on key metrics.
7. Administer the annual employee satisfaction survey and report on the results.
8. Manage the leavers process: issue documentation, conduct exit interviews, and update systems.
9. Support health, safety, and facilities coordination with external partners.
10. Assist with visa applications, sponsorships, and inter-company visits.
11. Participate in continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
Experience required:
1. Previous experience in a busy HR support or coordination role.
2. Strong understanding of recruitment and onboarding best practices.
3. Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
4. Proficiency with systems and Microsoft Office; experience with SharePoint is a plus.
5. Proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
6. Team-oriented with collaborative working skills across departments and regions.
