Design Lockeris looking for a full-time on-site Junior Designer to join the team in Leicester.
Working in a hands-on role, the successful applicant will collaborate with the Pattern Cutters and Sample Machinists to develop innovative and visually appealing Womenswear and Kidswear garments for high-street brands.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that all design projects align with client requirements and are completed within deadlines.
* Maintaining an orderly workspace for design
* Studio organisation and administrative support
* Managing samples and materials
* Handling day-to-day administrative tasks that support the design team.
Profile
* Proficiency with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate
* Strong understanding of print design
* Creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with team members and clients
* Design experience or a portfolio illustrating design capabilities is a plus
* Relevant educational background in Fashion Design, Visual Arts, or a related creative field is a plus
