An exciting opportunity has become available for a dynamic, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our Critical care education team as a band 6 Assistant Practice Educator.
The Assistant Practice Educator role is fundamental to support the development of a conducive learning environment; delivered through structured education, coaching and clinical skill instruction to our clinical nursing staff.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of knowledge and skills within Critical Care and be passionate about teaching and developing clinical staff. You will need to be approachable to staff and be able to work collaboratively with divisional staff and other organisational practice educators across the organisation, to promote key priorities.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for delivering educational and clinical training activities to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge to ensure service delivery is of a high professional standard in line with organisational and national quality and patient safety guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will need to inspire the workforce through education, training and example to maintain professional standards, whilst also demonstrating a commitment to maintaining your own professional development and credible clinical practice.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
