Offer description

The role involves developing and implementing vehicle End-of-Line (EOL) test routines and processes to validate electrical systems during manufacturing. Responsibilities include managing EOL test equipment, improving First Time Through (FTT) rates, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers to create scalable validation procedures.

The role also involves identifying and resolving issues during vehicle bring-up and EOL testing, developing engineering tools for software flashing and diagnostics, and providing on-site support to manufacturing partners for troubleshooting and sensor calibration.


Dimension of Function:

* Develop vehicle EOL test routines using in-house/third-party authoring tools
* Develop and implement processes to bring up and validate the vehicle's electrical systems during manufacturing processes.
* Develop and implement systems to manage and maintain End-of-Line (EOL) test equipment
* Lead initiatives to improve EOL FTT (First Time Through rate)
* Work closely with multidisciplinary engineers to collect and interpret the component and vehicle level requirements and to translate them into a scalable system-level validation procedure to be performed during the vehicle testing process.
* Identify the root causes of issues during vehicle bring-up, and EOL testing, and work with client software integration/manufacturing teams to develop robust resolutions.
* Develop engineering tools to support activities such as software flashing, diagnostic services, and engineering data exchange.
* Provide on-site support to manufacturing partners to manage vehicle bring-up including troubleshooting of vehicle systems, end-of-line testing, and sensor calibration.

Knowledge / Experience:

* Proven experience in automotive EOL systems
* Recent experience with SIDIS Prime
* Proven Test authoring experience in / for a vehicle manufacturing plant
* Experience with IDT (integrated dynamic test) communication.
* Proficiency in EOL test authoring tools
* Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and the ability to interpret complex circuit designs.
* A good working knowledge of manufacturing controls and automotive diagnostics
* Proficiency in CAN/LIN/Ethernet/UDS/DoIP/ODX/OTX etc.
* Hand on knowledge and experience in Vector Diagnostic tools (CANalyzer, CANoe etc.)
* Experience with ECU (Electronic Control Unit) programming, flashing, and reprogramming techniques.
* Experience with high-voltage and low-voltage power systems commonly found in modern EVs
* In-depth understanding of EOL systems (e.g. ADAS, Fluid Filling, Wheel Alignment etc.)
* Experience with failure mode analysis methodologies like FMEA and fault trees
* Ability to understand complex manufacturing processes and systems
* Strong understanding of the electrical and software architecture of modern automotive vehicles
* Experience with integration and automation of manufacturing and test equipment
