We are seeking to recruit a clinical research co-ordinator or clinical research nurse to join our established research delivery team at Surrey & Sussex Healthcare Trust and support recruitment to clinical research studies.
The team supports research activity in a wide range of clinical specialties. Our research portfolio is growing steadily as we aim to increase participation in research.
Position Overview
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual to develop new skills in managing research studies at SASH. The ideal candidate will have:
1. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
2. The ability to prioritize effectively to meet competing demands.
3. A logical and methodical approach to work with strong problem-solving skills.
4. A health or science-related degree.
5. Experience working in a SASH clinical environment with regular contact with patients and senior clinical staff.
6. A good understanding of data protection/information governance, GCP (Good Clinical Practice), and research governance.
