About The Role
We’re looking for a dedicated and motivated Installation Operative to join our Installations Team at our Leeds branch. This role involves working both at our branch yard and on-site for pump installations as needed.
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Promote and exercise the company’s mission statement and core values to deliver a consistent approach to installations across the UK.
2. Carry out installations and deinstallations of pumps, pipework, and associated equipment as directed by the Installation Supervisor.
3. Assist drivers with loading and unloading vehicles, checking paperwork, missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
4. Maintain a clean and organised work area on-site.
5. Prioritise safety at all times, demonstrate confidence and knowledge to halt installations if safety issues arise, and inform your supervisor accordingly.
This role is subject to a safety-critical medical.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
1. Must be physically able due to the role's requirements.
2. Ability to work on construction sites and adapt to challenging situations.
3. Effective team communication and support for timely project completion.
4. Flexible working hours and availability to be ‘on call’.
5. Willingness to travel and work away from home occasionally.
6. Focus on Health & Safety, adhering strictly to guidelines.
7. Full driving license (no more than 6 points).
Preferred (but Not Essential)
1. Construction Skills CSCS card.
2. National Water Hygiene Card.
3. Confined space training.
4. Forklift operator certification.
5. Understanding of temporary/permanent pumping solutions.
This role requires willingness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, lone working, and with sewage.
