The Role
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This position offers hybrid working, providing flexibility between home and office.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
* Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Processing journals, accruals and prepayments
* Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
* VAT returns support
* Supporting audit preparation
* Ad hoc financial reporting and analysis
About You
* Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant or Accounts role
* Strong Excel skills and good knowledge of accounting systems
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
