Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Revit Technician and Part 1 or 2 qualified architect, to join our ever-growing business, working across various clients work streams in different sectors from retail to hospitality, hospitals, schools, airports and many more. You must be a highly organised individual who is flexible to work across various projects to deadlines that suit our client's needs, with great communication skills and have experience working solo on projects as well as working as part of a wider team on larger scale projects, to meet client deadlines and briefs. Retail design solutions pride ourselves on the quality delivered to our clients, so you must have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your works quality across everything you deliver, as well as supporting those around you to do the same through coaching and training where required.

Working on sites in various locations including high streets, shopping centres, retail parks, train stations, petrol stations, airports, and universities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Creating accurate and detailed Revit models.
· Be able to complete technical drawings with annotations referring to detailed design and construction requirements.
· Collaborate with external architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate representation of design intent.
· Ensure the models completed meet the company's standards and quality expectations.
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Revit models across the department where required.
· Work closely with your manager and the wider team to ensure the timely completion of projects in line with our various client deadlines.
· Assist with the management of company BIM/Revit library's regarding families, templates, and standards.
· Implement and enforce these BIM standards and protocols for consistent project delivery.
· Collaborate with the wider teams, such as the design department and construction department to make sure the model aligns with their project requirements.
· Be flexible with work to different client briefs, regarding LOD, timelines and what's required to be captured per job, as these change based on client and expectations set.
· Work as part of a wider team on larger projects to cohesively get the end result required for the client while retaining our high quality.
· Be able to support on project set ups for new clients.
· Ensuring work output conforms to specifications and standard requirements set by our clients or legislations.
· Support with reviewing of plans against data to monitor standards across various clients work streams.
· Revise and update existing drawings in line with changes communicated from your line manager or our client's requirements.
· Keep up to date technically and apply new knowledge to the job as well as sharing with your peers to continue bettering the team and pushing the department continuously forward.
Team:
Liaise with key internal management, Account Managers and Lead to ensure effective client service is maintained.
Integrate into the wider team and be a team player.
Skillset:
· Advanced Revit user and proven past work must be provided.
· Proficient knowledge of BIM and a strong knowledge of all Revit's features such as Architecture/Structure/Steelworks/Annotations/Detailing Systems & families, templates, scheduling, rendering & visuals aspects.
· In-depth knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
· Proficient in 2D AutoCAD.
· Proficient in Excel, word and PowerPoint.
· Experience drawing from Point Cloud data is beneficial but not essential we can implement training where required.
· Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies
· Architect level 1 or 2 is beneficial but not essential.
· Great communication and collaboration skills to liaise with diverse project stakeholders.
· Be highly organised.
· Deadline driven and committed to high quality.
· Willingness to train and coach fellow team members.

Location and Hours:
· Earls Colne, Essex- office based for 3 days a week, so must be within travelling distance.
· Monday- Thursday 8.30-5pm, Friday pm (39.5hrs a week)
