Location: Southsea Hours: Part Time Role Overview We are recruiting a proactive and organised Housing Voids & Service Promotion Officer to support our recovery, engagement and transitional housing services. This role focuses on managing housing voids efficiently while actively promoting our services and maintaining strong referral pathways with professionals and partner agencies. Key Responsibilities Managing housing voids to ensure accommodation is ready, safe, and lettable Preparing rooms between residents, including: Cleaning and presentation Bedding and basic furnishing Identifying and reporting maintenance needs Coordinating move-ins and move-outs efficiently Completing move-in paperwork, referrals, and required legal documentation Liaising with external professionals, agencies, and partners to promote available housing and support services Supporting and maintaining referral pathways to ensure timely placements Promoting services to professionals and organisations to reduce voids and improve engagement Working with clients in and out of recovery in a trauma-informed, respectful manner Keeping accurate records and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures About You Experience in housing, recovery, engagement, or support services (desirable) Comfortable working with individuals at different stages of recovery Strong communication and relationship-building skills Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple responsibilities Practical and hands-on approach to housing management Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and professional boundaries What We Offer A rewarding role supporting recovery and stability Supportive team environment Training and development opportunities
