We’re on a mission to help businesses take meaningful climate action. We sit at the intersection of climate and technology, working with companies to better understand and reduce their carbon impact.
We’ve created a fast-moving, ambitious environment where ideas turn into action quickly, but you’ll be supported by a close-knit team and work directly with experienced founders as you learn.
The Role
This isn’t a typical entry-level role. You’ll work directly with the founders and get involved across everything that drives growth.
A big part of your time will be spent supporting founder‑led sales, researching prospects, shaping outreach, building pitch decks, and keeping follow-ups and onboarding running smoothly. As you develop, you’ll start joining sales conversations, learning how things are done and gradually moving towards running your own demos and owning parts of the sales process.
Alongside this, you’ll help keep the wider growth engine moving, including content, SEO, and broader go‑to‑market work, giving you a clear view of how everything connects.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Working closely with the founder on day‑to‑day sales activity
* Researching prospects and supporting outbound (LinkedIn / email)
* Building pitch decks and preparing demos
* Managing follow‑ups, CRM, and onboarding coordination
* Supporting website content and SEO, including coordinating freelancers
* Contributing to marketing activity and wider GTM projects
This role is designed to evolve. As you build confidence and capability, you’ll move from supporting sales into a more client‑facing role, with the opportunity to take on increasing ownership of pipeline, demos, and deal progression.
This can naturally grow into a more dedicated sales or growth role over time.
What Success Looks Like
* Build a strong understanding of Seedling’s product, customers, and sales process within your first 6–12 months
* Confidently contribute to outreach, demos, and pipeline generation
* Progress into owning parts of the sales process, including running demos and managing follow‑ups
* Directly contribute to new business and revenue growth
* For the right person, rapidly grow into a more senior, customer‑facing role, with the potential to take on significant ownership of the sales function within 12–18 months
What We’re Looking For
This role is more about potential than ticking every box. What matters most is how you think, learn, and approach problems. We’re looking for someone intellectually sharp, curious, and able to quickly get up to speed in a fast‑moving environment.
We’re looking for someone who’s:
* Sharp, organised, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership
* Comfortable figuring things out, while open to guidance and learning from others
* Able to operate in a fast‑moving environment where priorities shift
* Naturally curious about startups, growth, and commercial thinking
* Comfortable picking up new tools and ways of working (including AI)
* Any exposure to sales, marketing, content, or CRMs is a bonus, but not essential
