Our client is an established organisation based on the outskirts of Leeds, and they are looking for an Events Coordinator to join their close-knit team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an Events Planner or Events Manager to join a lovely organisation.\n\nThe successful candidate must have experience in planning and managing events for large numbers of people.\n\nThis is a full time, permanent position and will be fully office based. There will be put of hours working as and when required.\n\nSalary: £28,000 per annum\n\n The role will be varied but duties will include:\n\nPlanning and assisting with the delivery of events from concept to execution.\nManaging ticket sales by dealing with telephone and online bookings, inputting sales in the database, raising invoices and processing payments and dispatching tickets.\nGathering quotes from event suppliers e.g venues, printers, florists, etc.\nOverseeing event guest information; keeping the central database up to date.\nCreating financial documents including invoices, credit notes and request for payment.\nAssisting at off-site events.\nManaging the development and delivery of events-related marketing and social media campaigns (e.g. mail shots, posting updates)\nCreating PowerPoint slides for use at events.\nMail merge administrative duties and general admin support.\nVolunteer recruitment, coordination and training for large events.\nPre event and post event prize coordination - liaising with winning bidders/ chasing payment.\nManaging post event thank you/recognitions.About you: \n\nA strong work ethic with a passion for helping others.\nExperience in the events industry.\nDrive, ambition, and a strong sense of initiative.\nA willingness to learn and take on additional responsibility.\nA good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and Power Point)\nReliable and organised.\nAble to multi-task and achieve key deadlines.If you feel this could be the right role for you please click apply or call Charlotte on (phone number removed) today!\n\nHuntress Search Ltd acts as a Recruitment Agency in relation to all Permanent roles and as a Recruitment Business in relation to all Temporary roles.\n\nWe practice a diverse and inclusive recruitment process that ensures equal opportunity for all we work with, irrespective of race, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age or gender.
