Learning and Development (L&D) Manager | OneMedical Group | Permanent, Full-time
OneMedical Group is seeking a dedicated Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to join our team in a permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week).
Based on-site at our Central Support Centre in LS21 1PY, this position requires national travel to our sites across UK. You will play a key role in shaping learning initiatives across our organisation.
The Role
As the Learning and Development (L&D) Manager, you will lead the design, delivery, and implementation of impactful learning initiatives across the organisation. Partnering closely with leaders and subject-matter experts, you will identify development needs, create scalable solutions, and cultivate a culture of continuous learning. This role is pivotal in supporting employee growth and enhancing the quality of our services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with leaders and subject-matter experts to identify and address training needs.
2. Develop and deliver high-quality learning and development programmes to support employee growth.
3. Lead the design and delivery of corporate induction and onboarding programmes
4. Conduct training needs analyses and implement bespoke development plans
5. Support employee engagement and succession planning initiatives
6. Provide coaching to managers and support career development across teams
7. Introduce and implement new policies and procedures, gaining buy-in from key stakeholders.
8. Provide strategic insights through HR and L&D reporting
Essential Skills and Qualifications
9. Educated to degree level in L&D, HR, or equivalent relevant experience.
10. CIPD qualified to Level 5 or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
11. Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
12. Proven experience delivering engaging training and professional development.
13. Proven experience in writing and introducing policies and procedures.
14. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
15. In-depth knowledge of employment legislation and compliance standards.
16. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Smartsheets.
17. Flexibility for national travel to all OneMedical Group sites.
18. Valid full driving license and own transport required.
