Regional Director
You will serve as a Borgen Project Ambassador in your city, mobilizing community members to contact government officials in support of poverty reduction legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet with local government leaders to advocate for legislation that improves living conditions for the poor.
* Mobilize community members to support poverty reduction legislation.
* Manage and implement fundraising campaigns.
* Build a network of engaged supporters.
* Represent The Borgen Project as an ambassador in your city.
Qualifications
* Basic understanding of politics and international development.
* Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
* Team player with innovative ideas.
* Decisive with good judgment.
* Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
Location: U.S., U.K., or Canada
Salary: Unpaid
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 4-6 hours/week
Start Date: Flexible; start any month you choose
