About The Role
At GSF Car Parts, the role of a Casual Retail Assistant is essential in delivering excellent Customer Service. You will be a key team member, contributing to achieving branch and individual targets through face-to-face sales, servicing click and collect orders, and developing strong customer relationships.
Main duties include:
1. Serve trade and retail customers for click and collect and general orders while maximising sales where possible.
2. Pick relevant parts from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders.
3. Assist the sales team with product promotions by answering telephone and electronic queries.
4. Fully satisfy customer needs regarding part orders, returns, or queries.
5. Check customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge.
6. Contribute to a positive team environment while working on personal sales benchmarks.
7. Use the E-learning portal to develop product knowledge and improve performance.
8. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of customer-facing areas.
9. Develop strong relationships with customers and understand their garage needs.
10. Represent the company professionally, promoting our values and maintaining a good image.
11. Work towards achieving relevant KPIs.
Working hours: Casual basis to cover sickness and annual leave, including weekends.
About You
What you'll need to succeed:
1. Proven customer service or sales/retail experience in a customer-facing role.
2. Target-driven and motivated to achieve results.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Positive approach to customer queries and proactive resolution seeking.
5. Confident in using IT and computer systems.
6. Ability to work well with others.
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Knowledge of car parts or automotive industry is advantageous but not essential.
9. Knowledge of MAM, Allicat, MS Office is desirable.
