Customer Services Supervisor - Reception (3247)
This is a 9 month fixed term contract.
The role of Customer Services Supervisor in our reception team will be based at our Mayfield retirement village in Watford. Mayfield Watford is part of a buzzing residential neighbourhood which includes facilities such as a shop, food and beverage outlet, leisure club and a beautiful riverside park.
Mayfield villages comprises of owners, who permanently reside on site within their own private homes and who pay a management fee for the upkeep of their properties and access to services on site. In addition the village hosts external customers and this role is responsible for providing a first class, positive experience for all.
Reporting into the Deputy General Manager, Mayfield’s Customer Services Supervisor is responsible for managing the reception area and are the first line support for all our owners and external customers.
Day to day you will supervise a small team, you will work to maintain department facilities, standards of presentation and levels of service to a level that achieves and exceeds customer expectations. You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in the creation and running of regular hospitality events at the village.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience dealing with customers on a regular basis with the ability to influence and liaise with people at all levels.
2. Excellent communication and relationship building skills to ensure the guest receive the highest quality of service and customer engagement is high.
3. Experience of line managing a team
4. Ability to hold conversations with owners and guests, being attentive to their needs and spot opportunities to upsell.
5. Team working to ensure that all reception duties are carried out effectively.
6. Ability to deal with queries in an efficient and diplomatic way.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
8. Experience of working in a customer facing role.
9. Self-motivated and driven by standards
10. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and produce creative solutions
11. Accurate cash handling skills.
