Working within a key team here at Horder Healthcare, we have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Sous Chef to join our experienced catering team. Assisting the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, leading the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring that the food is prepared and served to a high-quality and standard, as well as assisting with the menu planning and preparation. Based from The Horder Centre, Crowborough, this is a full-time role, working on a Monday to Sunday shift basis of 5 of 7 with shifts ranging from 6:30am - 6:30pm.
About you:
* City & Guilds 706 Level 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent C.I.E.H. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
* Prior experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Excellent communication skills, to help build those all-important and respected relationships with our patients and your colleagues.
* Exposure to menu planning, with a keen interest in current food and dietary trends.
* Proactive and forward thinking, with a passion for continued learning.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Sunday shift basis of 5 out of 7 days
Salary: up to £26,500 per annum
