We are searching for a reliable Groundskeeper to join our team in Brighton, CO. (temporary) Pay: $24.00/hr. Schedule: 6:00AM - 2:30PM Groundskeeper Job Description: Performs routine landscaping and turf maintenance: water, mow, trim, rake, aerate; maintain, trim and remove trees, bushes and shrubs Clean grounds, public parking lots and other installations of leaves, weeds and litter Assist in preparing and maintaining reports and records of maintenance, weed management and/or restoration activities Inspect, clean and repair park structures/facilities, such as play equipment, picnic tables, shelters and fences Assist in the removal of debris resulting from storms Report and remediate incidents of vandalism Follows safety rules and regulations and report violations of rules and regulations Ability to operate all equipment needed for grounds maintenance, including: mower, edger, blower, tractor, loader, vehicle and hand power tools Load and unload equipment and supplies, cleans and cares for basic tools and equipment Groundskeeper Job Requirements: Knowledge of methods, techniques and tools used in the construction maintenance of parks, landscaping areas and related facilities Understand watering requirements for lawns, trees, plants and various types of soil Exhibit use and maintenance of chemical spraying equipment Display operation of a wide variety of equipment and tools used in parks maintenance, repair and construction in a safe and effective manner Ability to work effectively with other staff and public Strong oral and written communication skills
