1. Your NewpanyYou will be joining a well‑established organisation operating across multiple service-led divisions. You will be part of a supportive, collaborative finance team within a fast-paced environment.2. Your New RoleAs Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in the day‑to‑day operations of the finance department. This is a varied position covering a broad spectrum of accounting tasks, including:
1. High‑volume sales invoice processing
2. Managing online portals and handling related administrative tasks
3. Resolving account and invoice queries in a timely manner
4. Supporting month‑end accounting procedures
5. High‑volume purchase ledger and subcontractor ledger invoice processing
6. Performing reconciliations for a range of bank accounts andpany credit cards
7. Posting entries to the nominal ledger
8. Assisting with general accounts and administrative duties as required
This role offers exposure to multiple finance functions and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing improvements within the department.3. What You’ll Need to SucceedTo excel in this position, you should bring:
9. Strong working knowledge of accounting systems, ideally including Sage 200
10. Experience with CAFM or similar operational software (preferred)
11. Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
12. The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals
13. Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
14. A proactive, self‑motivated approach and willingness to take on new challenges
Preferred experience:
15. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounts administration or similar finance role
16. Background in construction or facilities management (advantageous)
