HR Assistant / HR Coordinator (Development Opportunity) Outskirts of Nottingham City Centre On-site with occasional WFH flexibility Up to £35,000 benefits Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours per week) Are you an experienced HR Assistant or Coordinator ready to take the next step in your HR career? We're working with a fantastic business based just outside of Nottingham City Centre to recruit a HR professional who is passionate about people, enjoys variety in their role, and is looking to grow and develop. You'll join a small, friendly HR team and be supported to step into a more autonomous position over time. This is a great opportunity if you're looking to broaden your experience across all areas of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and policy work. What you'll be doing: - Be a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from managers and employees - Support with employee relations issues such as sickness absence, disciplinaries, and grievances (with guidance) - Help coordinate the recruitment process - advertising roles, arranging interviews, and supporting new starters - Maintain accurate employee records and help ensure GDPR compliance - Assist with onboarding, induction, and probation reviews - Contribute to HR projects and initiatives such as wellbeing, employee engagement, and implementing a new HR system - Produce basic reports and support with admin for policies and procedures What we're looking for: - Previous experience in a HR support role (Assistant or Coordinator level) - CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) is essential - Keen to learn and develop across generalist HR - Strong communication and organisational skills - Good attention to detail and a proactive, supportive approach - Comfortable with HR systems and Microsoft Office This is a brilliant stepping stone for someone looking to progress their HR career in a supportive and professional environment where you'll be exposed to all aspects of HR.
