Overview
We're recruiting a working supervisor to lead a team of electricians delivering electrical installation work on vessels in Pembroke. This is a hands on supervisory role, combining time on the tools with day to day coordination of the electrical team as the project ramps from an initial pair of electricians to a full team of six by mid August.
The contract starts on 20th July, so it could suit someone finishing a current contract in July or looking for a new role over the summer.
Responsibilities
Supervising the electrician team day-to-day (task allocation, progress updates, quality checks)
Coordinating with the client's leads/production to keep work moving and remove blockers
Ensuring safe working practices are followed and standards are maintained
Remaining hands-on with installation work as required (cable runs, termination, glanding, testing)
Working from drawings, schematics and installation instructionsWhat the client is looking for
Essential:
Proven electrical installation experience plus prior supervisory/lead responsibility
Confident running a small team day-to-day while still working hands-on
Strong understanding of quality and safe systems of workPreferred:
Marine electrical installation background (vessels / shipyard / boat build / refit)
or if no Marine experience, Automotive experience would be considered (loom builds, high-quality install, fault-finding)Hours
One rate for all hours - unlimited hours available

Dependant on supervisory experience
Minimum 2 month contract
