Payables Senior (Key Accounts)We are searching for an experienced Payables Senior (Key Accounts)

The National Finance Office (NFO) are looking for an Accounts Payable Senior to join their team in our Gatwick office.

In this role, you will have responsibility for the coordination of accounts payable activity pertaining to an assigned group of stakeholders. You will also proactively engage with internal and external contacts to ensure the provision of a premium service.

The role incorporates the organisation of purchase orders, contracts, suppliers, and associated monthly accounting prepayments, accruals and reconciliations to ensure prompt and accurate processing, approval and payment of invoices.

You’ll make an impact by:

1. Efficiently and accurately processing invoices.
2. Payment management incorporating setup and maintenance of Direct Debit, Standing Orders etc.
3. Invoice coding including coding support for business users.
4. Actively managing stakeholders and onboarding suppliers.
5. Continuous reconciliations to ensure accurate position.

6. Relevant, proven experience in a similar role.
7. Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping.
8. Exceptional communications skills and comfortable in building relationships.
9. Professional, engaging and stakeholder focused.
10. Strong data skills, able to analyse and summarise data driven actions.
11. Good IT skills, particularly Excel. Knowledge of the Workday system would be beneficial but not essential.
