My client is looking for an experienced Asset Surveyor to support a mixed portfolio of residential and commercial properties within the charity sector. If you’re confident conducting surveys, diagnosing issues, and keeping projects moving, this is a great opportunity to step into a varied and meaningful role.
What you’ll do
* Carry out stock condition, maintenance and HHSRS surveys
* Diagnose building defects and specify practical solutions
* Produce drawings, specifications and tender documents
* Oversee contractor performance and major works
* Ensure compliance with CDM and all regulatory requirements
* Liaise with tenants, contractors and external partners
* Support service improvement and data reporting
What you’ll bring
* Strong technical knowledge of building construction and regulations
* Confident with defect diagnosis, measured surveys and cost estimating
* Experience managing contractors and planned works
* Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
* IT‑proficient (Excel, Word, CAD/Visio desirable)
* Professional qualifications or memberships (RICS/CIAT/MCIOB) are ideal
