Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support Nuclear Skills & Capability initiatives within the Submarines business unit. This role will play a key part in ensuring workforce capability and SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel) compliance through structured training, skills development, and governance of capability frameworks.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate projects focused on nuclear skills, training, and capability development.
Support compliance with LC/AC 10 Training requirements and the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
Develop and manage training frameworks, competency standards, and evaluation processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Engineering, and Programme Delivery to ensure capability objectives are met.
Provide governance, assurance, and reporting to support workforce readiness and capability planning.
Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and the adoption of new tools and processes to enhance organisational capability.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven background in project management, ideally within defence, nuclear, or highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of training governance, competency frameworks, or SQEP compliance.
Experience in capability development, workforce planning, or learning & development projects.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management skills.
Ability to deliver projects within a complex, multi-programme environment.
