Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Northern Ireland
Salary depending on experience
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join a dynamic engineering environment. This role is focused on driving new product introduction from concept through to production, ensuring robust processes, seamless cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Support product development from initial concept through to full production release
· Develop and validate manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions
· Manage prototype builds and first article validation
· Act as a key interface between Design, R&D, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain
· Provide manufacturing input during design reviews
· Investigate and resolve production issues using structured problem‑solving methods
· Coordinate containment activities to minimise impact on production
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rework, waste, and variability
Requirements
· Degree in an engineering related subject
· Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, assembly, vehicle wiring, and vehicle electronics
· Experience using CAD and PDM systems (SolidWorks and Pulse PDM advantageous)
