We're seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to join our team, someone who combines technical mastery with strong leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution while mentoring team members and maintaining our high standards for quality and efficiency.
What you’ll do:
* Lead and supervise roofing crews across multiple projects, ensuring exceptional workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. Provide hands-on training and mentorship to develop team capabilities.
* Manage project timelines and resources, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and on-time completion. Adapt plans as needed to address weather conditions and other variables.
* Evaluate and price new projects, leveraging deep industry knowledge to provide accurate estimates while identifying opportunities to optimise efficiency and material usage.
* Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, quality assessments, and resource allocation. Use digital tools to track and report on key metrics.
What you’ll bring
* Minimum 5 years of hands-on roofing experience with demonstrated expertise in finishing work
* Proven track record managing complex roofing projects and leading teams
* Strong understanding of roofing materials, techniques, and industry best practices
* Experience with project estimation and budgeting
* Valid driver's licence and clean driving record
