Job Title: MOS Operative
As a MOS Operative, you will be responsible for Traffic Management Schemes across various projects. Your main duties include manual control of traffic light systems on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow and monitoring site conditions. You may also assist qualified operatives to ensure efficient project execution while maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the role.
This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy outdoor, physical work.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand and follow safe working methods and best practices
* Perform risk assessments and prepare method statements for traffic management tasks
* Carry out activities according to established procedures, suggest improvements, and report to your line manager
* Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance
* Promote a positive company image through proper attire, attitude, and site cleanliness
* Assist the public by directing them safely around the site when required
Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
* Valid UK Driving License
* Training will be provided in traffic management procedures
