The Role: You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students ranging in the ages 11-16 years old, with various SEN, SEMH and behavioural difficulties. This school is a short stay alternative provision for: Students who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education Students who may be at risk of permanent exclusion Students who have specific medical needs Students who need SEND assessments It is a “trauma informed school” and they approach all students with these practices. Students are supported with their emotional literacy, mentoring opportunities, sports coaching, anger management, emotion coaching, mental health first aid, sensory opportunities and family workshops.
