Position: Bartender
Location: Peter Street Kitchen Restaurant and Bar, within the 5-Star Edwardian Manchester Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel.
Overview:
* Join the team at our flagship restaurant and bar.
* Serve a variety of drinks and cocktails, maintaining brand standards and high presentation quality.
* Have good knowledge of wines and spirits, able to answer questions and make recommendations.
* Report discrepancies like spillages and breakages to ensure accurate stock takes.
* Process orders through the Micros system and correctly generate bills.
* Keep the bar area clean, tidy, and obstacle-free for seamless service.
* Be competent with IT applications such as OpenTable, Adecco, and Micros.
About You:
* Previous high-end bar experience, especially with cocktails, is essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
* Impeccable command of written and spoken English.
* Passion for food and beverage, with a desire to stay updated on liquor trends.
