Intervention Teaching Assistant Year 5 & 6 (Long-Term Role)

Horizon Teachers is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Hounslow to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Intervention Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting in September.
The Role:
You will play a key part in supporting pupils in Years 5 and 6, focusing on targeted intervention work in English and Maths. Working closely with the class teachers and the senior leadership team, your role will involve:
Delivering structured small-group and one-to-one intervention sessions
Supporting pupils to close learning gaps and build confidence in core subjects
Occasionally stepping into the classroom to provide general support as needed
About You:
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting pupils at KS2 level, particularly in English and Maths
Is confident in delivering interventions and engaging learners at different ability levels
Works well independently and as part of a team
Brings energy, initiative, and a passion for helping children succeed
