The post holder will provide a high quality preventative maintenance, repair, calibration, safety and acceptance testing service on a broad range of complex and patient critical medical equipment.

Qualifications and Training
Essential criteria
* Guidance Score BSc/BEng in an appropriate Electronics Engineering subject or developed knowledge and experience in Electronics Engineering to NVQ5 level equivalence
Desirable criteria
* Member of an appropriate professional organisation
* Possesses an up‑to‑date professional portfolio.
* Registered as a Clinical Technologist
Knowledge / Experience
Essential criteria
* Evidence of post qualification medical equipment maintenance experience working in a relevant healthcare environment.
Desirable criteria
* Specialist equipment training on complex multi‑parameter medical equipment
Knowledge and Skills
Essential criteria
* Repair, preventative maintenance, safety testing & acceptance testing.
* Broad knowledge of medical device operation & management
Desirable criteria
* Specialised knowledge of medical applications of engineering
