Responsibilities
* Design software solutions to meet business needs, balancing rapid development with code quality and performance, in coordination with IT management and the head of desk.
* Proactively suggest platform enhancements for the benefit of both business and IT.
* Implement, test, and deploy software solutions within established constraints and existing codebase.
* Maintain and improve existing systems and tools used daily.
* Follow DevOps practices and provide Level 2 support, ensuring quick response to incidents.
* Develop tools for production monitoring to anticipate and identify technical or functional issues.
* Lead the Global FX development team by example and provide organizational guidance.
* Build strong relationships with Trading, Business Managers, Technology, and Support Teams to align on technological evolution.
Profile required
Technical Skills
* Minimum 5 years of experience in FX Pricing Development.
* At least 3 years of management or leadership experience.
* Familiarity with object-oriented design.
* Expertise in C#/.NET; knowledge of C++/Java is a plus.
* Understanding of memory/CPU profiling, optimization, and multithreaded debugging.
* Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
* Experience with performance optimization in managed languages is advantageous.
* Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments.
* Knowledge of electronic exchange APIs, FIX/SBE protocols is a plus.
Functional Knowledge
* Knowledge of FX cash and/or NDF products.
* Experience in developing manual or automatic trading systems.
* Understanding of back-testing principles.
* Familiarity with electronic exchange, market, and broker platform connectivity.
Languages
* Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
* French language skills are a plus.
