The Governors and Leadership Team of The Bishop Wilson and Christ Church, Church of England Federation are seeking to appoint two dedicated and experienced part-time teachers, or a suitable candidate may be considered to fulfil both roles on a temporary contract initially. The roles are based at Bishop Wilson CE Primary School and start from 1 st September 2025. The successful candidates need to be flexible, enthusiastic, happy to work in a team and have a trauma informed approach. We are looking for teachers who have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum and put the children at the heart of everything they do. We are looking for someone who shares our school vision of ‘The Joy of the Lord is Our Strength’. They will need to be excellent communicators, be able to build and develop relationships with the children and their families and have a positive approach to behaviour management. We can offer you wonderful children, who are keen to learn and work with you, and a small team of supportive colleagues. We anticipate one role 0.5 to be in our EYFS Hub being the lead teacher for the Reception Cohort every morning. The successful candidate will be a strong EYFS practitioner and will be happy to work alongside the Pre-school teachers. We anticipate the other role to be 0.5 afternoons, and the successful candidate will work across the school providing PPA time in EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
