We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a long-term programme of internal fit out and refurbishment works within a live operational environment in Oxford.
This role requires a strong background in delivering projects within occupied buildings, with healthcare construction experience highly desirable. Candidates who have previously worked in hospitals or clinical environments will be particularly well suited.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for managing internal refurbishment and fit out packages in a live setting, ensuring works are carefully phased and delivered safely with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. The position demands strong coordination, stakeholder management and strict adherence to compliance procedures.

Key Responsibilities
*
Full project lifecycle management from pre-construction through to handover
*
Planning and sequencing works within live environments
*
Close liaison with client representatives, estates teams and end users
*
Managing subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners
*
Programme management, cost control and reporting
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and site-specific procedures
*
Overseeing quality assurance, inspections and handover documentation
Essential Requirements

Proven experience delivering internal fit out and refurbishment projects
*
Strong experience managing works in live operational environments
*
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
*
Ability to manage logistics, phasing and access restrictions
*
SMSTS
*
CSCS (Black Card preferred)
*
First Aid at Work
Highly Desirable
*
Previous healthcare construction experience
*
Experience working within hospitals or clinical facilities
*
Understanding of infection control procedures and relevant compliance standards
