Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within NTW Solutions Ltd, in the role of a Mechanical Craftsperson to join our Estates Team at Northgate Hospital. The suitably qualified and experienced candidate will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Estates Department. The selection process includes a Question-based Interview and Practical Scenario.

Main Duties
* Perform planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and new installations on various building systems within healthcare premises, including energy plant, DHWS & CWS systems, air compressors, laundry and catering equipment, drainage, ventilation, air conditioning, BMS, electrical services, and fault diagnosis and repair.
* Undertake condition surveys of mechanical systems and infrastructure within healthcare facilities.

Person Specification
Skills & Experience:
* Completion of a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
* Experience in estates maintenance, mechanical installation, service, and repair across multiple areas.
* Qualifications including GCSEs, City & Guilds, BTEC, HNC/HND, or NVQ 3 in relevant fields.
Additional Requirements:
* Ability to meet mobility requirements.
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation.
* Experience in cross-trade work, flexibility, and good communication skills.
