Julian Bowen is a leading furniture wholesaler at the forefront of the volume furniture market in the UK and Southern Ireland, based in the East Midlands. We are seeking a permanent, full-time Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team. As an important member of our team, your main duty will be to develop and improve online content including imagery and copy. This role provides an exciting opportunity that will involve working in a dynamic and growing business. Ideal candidate will have very strong communication skills and have an experience of working with social media platforms and CMS, although training will be provided as necessary.
Specific responsibilities will include:
* Create and upload content for brand new products to our PIM and various social media sites.
* Optimise existing web content to improve SEO and maximise sales potential.
* Create and send marketing emails to a wider target audience using bulk mailing software.
* Assist with marketing admin needs, e.g., booking photography shoots
Social Media Management
* Manage and grow social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) through organic advertising
* Plan, create, and publish engaging content across digital channels.
* Design creative assets, including video/gifs
* Manage social campaigns from setup to reporting
* Plan and execute social media strategy
Digital Marketing Strategy
* Use Mailchimp to manage campaigns, automation, re-targeting and reporting
* Communicate regularly to our customers through email implementation
Website & SEO
* Plan, execute and optimise website product page content through SEO and keyword research
* Update product copy and imagery for new products weekly
* Use analytics to track performance and analyse data.
Skills and Experience
* Experience with Adobe Photoshop/InDesign and Canva.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Confident use of MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Experience in Sage 200 would be an advantage but not essential.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
