Pillgwenlly Primary School is situated in the docks area of inner-city Newport, within the Local Education Authority (LEA). The school has 660 pupils aged three to eleven, including a nursery, and serves a diverse, multicultural community with 38 languages spoken. The percentage of children with English as an additional language is 81.7%.
This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and talented classroom teachers to join our dedicated team and new school building, equipped with first-class facilities including a 4G sports pitch, supporting our growing school community.
The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint two permanent Classroom Teachers. The successful candidates will be committed to children's wellbeing, learning, and raising standards, with a nurturing, positive, and caring attitude essential to this role.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
