About The Role
As a Nurse within the Alternative Futures Group, you’ll work with like-minded colleagues who share our five main organisational values, as part of a multidisciplinary in-house team, to provide the highest standards of nursing care for our patients. This means delivering truly person-centred and holistic care in a community-based environment. You’ll work closely with your team and build good relationships with the people you support, seeing the difference you make each day.
About You:
- You will provide warmth, enthusiasm, and compassion when supporting our patients.
- You will strive to provide high-quality holistic care, promoting our core values, maintaining independence, and supporting people to achieve their goals.
- You will be a team player with outstanding communication skills and demonstrate effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary team.
- You will be up to date with current evidence-based practices, knowledgeable of CQC Standards and Regulations, and use your initiative to improve care quality.
- You should be confident in leading teams and developing support staff to meet their performance goals.
- Experience of mentorship and a supervisor qualification is desirable but not essential.
- You should be flexible to support a 24/7 team.
About Your Experience:
- You must hold a current NMC Registered Nurse qualification with an active PIN.
- Experience working with service users to promote independence is preferred.
- Knowledge of the MHA (1983) would be advantageous; training will be provided.
About Us:
We value our people and believe in making a difference through our service. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £16.83 to £20.58 per hour, depending on experience, and an annual holiday allowance of 33 days including bank holidays.
Salary based on post-qualification experience, pro-rata depending on hours:
- £34,225 per annum (£17.55/hour) as a preceptorship nurse
- £36,767 per annum (£18.85/hour) after preceptorship or with up to 2 years post-preceptorship experience
- £41,850 per annum (£21.46/hour) with 2+ years post-qualification experience
