Job type: Fulltime, onsite
The Role
You will be responsible for the maintenance and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment across the factory floor, including support systems such as conveyors, labelers, scales, and processing machinery. Your key duties will include performing routine inspections, executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and responding swiftly to equipment failures. You will diagnose faults accurately and deliver effective, long-lasting repairs. Collaborating closely with all departments, you will work to minimize downtime, manage essential engineering documentation, and ensure seamless shift handovers while adhering strictly to Food, Health & Safety standards. Additionally, you will carry out machinery adjustments and changeovers as needed.
What We're Looking For
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
* Electrical qualification; knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is advantageous.
* Experience working with process plants, fillers, packaging machinery, and factory settings is desirable.
* Familiarity with HMI systems is a bonus.
* A proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
