Hywel Dda UHB has an exciting opportunity to expand prehabilitation through to rehabilitation services support patients in preparation for cancer treatment, during their cancer treatments, and for rehabilitation following their treatments. We are seeking an exceptional, inspirational, dynamic and experienced dietitian to support the MDT to deliver an innovative virtual cancer therapies service.
Hywel Dda UHB's "Prehab through to Rehab" programme supports people throughout their cancer treatments by enhancing patients clinical, functional and wellbeing outcomes, as well as improving patient experience.
Working as a multidisciplinary team, the successful candidate will provide support in the development and ongoing quality assurance of the service, undertaking evaluation, audit and contributing to research.
Applications are invited from individuals with demonstrable experience in working with people with cancer. They should be interested in working as part of a MDT therapy service, which actively supports professional development and is committed to excellent patient care and service improvement.

The post holder will be expected to travel across the Health Board footprint at times. Mileage allowance is payable and a lease car scheme is available.

Four main hospitals: Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth; Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen; Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli; and Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest
Five community hospitals: Amman Valley and Llandovery hospitals in Carmarthenshire; Tregaron Hospital in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire hospitals in Pembrokeshire
Two integrated care centres: Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion, and several other community settings
47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
Numerous mental health and learning disabilities services
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
