Job overview

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Receptionist to join our front-line team at Deepdale Encliffe Mount, Bakewell.

We are looking for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to be the first point of contact. You will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression while ensuring the smooth daily coordination and operation of our front desk, and administrative functions.

Main duties of the job

Greet patients, manage the check-in process using clinical systems, It is essential that you have excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills.

You must be able to prioritise work and respond to any queries from service users, staff, the general public or other agencies in a professional manner.

Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital calendar management in coordinating meeting room bookings.

You need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues, be well-motivated and reliable.

There will be developmental opportunity to support the CMHT also during periods of admin leave.

Working hours are monday to friday 9-5.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

Essential criteria

1. RSA Word Processing/Typing Grade II or equivalent Typing qualification / demonstrable experience.
2. Ability to understand basic word processing packages such as microsoft word/ excel
3. Demonstration of good level of Education

Desirable criteria

4. Previous experience in a Receptionist/ equivalent role

Essential criteria

5. Good standard of spelling and grammatical accuracy
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with system partners
7. Able to work as part of a team
8. Able to time manage
9. Able to prioritise
10. Excellent communication skills with the public
11. Able to stay calm under pressure
12. Understanding of confidentiality in line with GDPR and NHS Data Security standards.
