Location: Bristol/SomersetJob type: PermanentWorking pattern: Full-timeWorking hours: 37.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday – FridaySalary: £28,000 - £33,000 depending on experience Purpose of Role:We are looking for a proactive and inquisitive Insight Analyst to support the collection, management, and analysis of energy and carbon data across our operations. You will generate insights that inform decarbonisation strategy, track performance against sustainability targets, and support internal and external reporting. This is an ideal role for someone early in their data career with strong analytical skills and an interest in climate action. Principle Responsibilities:Analysis & Insight GenerationAnalyse trends in energy use, carbon emissions, and operational performance.Produce clear data visualisations, summaries, and commentary to support decision-making.Assist in modelling the impact of energy-efficiency and decarbonisation initiatives.Data Collection & ManagementGather, clean, and validate energy consumption, utility, and carbon emissions data from internal systems and external suppliers.Maintain organised and reliable datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reporting periods.Support the development of dashboards, data pipelines, and data quality processes.Reporting & ComplianceSupport the preparation of internal and regulatory reports (e.g., SECR, ESOS, GHG Protocol, CDP).Ensure all calculations follow recognised standards and methodologies.Contribute to monthly and quarterly energy and carbon performance reporting.Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, energy managers, central support and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.Provide basic guidance on data collection and reporting processes where required.
