Blue Arrow is recruiting for an immediate start Experienced Shot Blaster for their client based in Forfar.
Pay Rate: £14 – £16 Per Hour (DOE)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30 pm

The Role:
1. Shotblast as required using all types of media, ensuring to blow down after blasting is complete
2. Keep workshop safe and tidy at all times
3. Clean up blast room and general workshop
4. Ensure masking of parts on job pack is adhered to
5. Ensure blasting reports are filled in
6. Assist with all other workshop duties as required
7. Mask up parts as per requirements on job packs
8. Assisting with packaging of parts
9. Assist with weekly forklift checks as required
10. Adhere to all QHSE policies, procedures and ensure all staff are following too, reporting any issues to manager

12. Applicants must have experience in blasting using chilled iron, alu-oxide and crushed glass and be able to identify between SA 2/2.5/3.
