The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic tutor, with experience in delivering short, accredited courses (Level 1 qualifications) to groups of unemployed adult learners, at our vibrant training centre in Croydon.. Specifically we are looking for an experienced and qualified tutor to deliver a NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Health, Social Care And Children and Young People's Settings course to groups of unemployed adult learners. As a Strive tutor, you will be responsible for delivering a consistent, quality learning experience and helping all learners succeed and reach their full potential, with the ultimate goal of gaining sustainable employment. Youll be working directly with learners to help them achieve their qualification and boost their confidence and motivation. Note: This position is on a freelance basis and you would need to be available for 4 consecutive weeks at a time (Monday-Friday; 9.00am-5.00pm) on a regular basis. There may be short gaps in between courses so this role would suit someone who wants to work on a freelance basis. What you will be doing: All aspects of teaching, learning and assessment of the qualification, including motivating and supporting learners in their studies. Ensure all awarding body quality requirements and qualification outcomes are met. Provide learners with ongoing assessment and feedback through the duration of the course and provide individualised feedback on portfolios. Monitor each learners progress and provide the necessary support to ensure they complete and achieve their qualification in a timely manner. Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help learners maximise their potential. Follow Strives quality assurance processes and procedures and attend standardisation meetings as required. Embed key themes such as Safeguarding, PREVENT, and equality and diversity in teaching/learning. What you bring along: Relevant teaching qualification (minimum Level 3 AET) and assessing qualification. Proven track record of delivering successful Level 1 short, accredited courses to groups of unemployed adult learners in person. Confidence in using technology to support your delivery.
