Class 1 Multidrop Driver Days

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
We're looking for Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Banbury on a casual basis. This role is best suited for those who do not require full-time work and are just wanting to increase their weekly hours by a shift or two.
Typical shifts start between 05:00 & 07:00, lasting 10-12 hours. All trailers are loaded by the distribution centre and unloaded by the client, so manual handling is minimal.
While this is a casual role initially, candidates who perform well may be considered for permanent positions if desired.
What you'll do on a typical day:
* Multidrop deliveries of household cleaners (no ADR required) across England, including London, so must be comfortable travelling through/around this area.
* Ensuring all loads are securely strapped to the vehicle.
* Removing curtains for customer unloading as needed.
* Signing manual and digital paperwork as required.
* Safely operating your vehicle in compliance with standards.
* Performing vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.
What you need to succeed with our client:
* Minimum 2 years of multidrop experience and HGV1 licence.
* Digital Tachograph Card, Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
* No more than six penalty points; no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
* Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
* A positive, can-do attitude.
* Ability to pass an onsite assessment.
