* This Buying Manager role is ideal for forward thinking individual, who has excellent experience in managing complex negotiations within food or non-food
* The role is 2 days in the office in Weybridge and 3 days at home (must live a reasonable commute from the office which is close to the train station)
The role:
1. The successful Buying Manager will lead a small team of buyers to deliver tenders and projects that deliver the commercial KPI’s for the business.
2. The Buying Manager will lead negotiations and the strategic plan to deliver maximum value for the business whilst delivering on sustainability objectives
3. As Buying Manager you will keep aware of supplier, market and competitor trends and activity to develop a strategic plan that will deliver long term growth
4. Leading, coaching and developing the team you will lead multiple projects that deliver continuous improvement to drive best in class ways of working and procurement excellence.
5. In the role the Buying Manager will manage the impact of inflation and will closely monitor prices of commodity products identifying and mitigating.
